A fast, punchy introduction to East African gravel racing. This 20km circuit kicks off with a blistering pace through green, crop-lined, hardpacked sectors of Flamingo Farm before diving straight into the heart of Hell's Gate National Park. Rolling past the iconic Fisher’s Tower, riders will navigate a mix of fast-rolling dirt sectors and a singular, biting mid-race climb that tops out just past the 10km mark. The first half is generally uphill, with the final half mostly a downhill race to the finish. It is the perfect course for gravel sprinters and newcomers looking for high speeds, stunning backdrops, wildlife sightings and just enough elevation to test the legs.
